These are some quick illustrations that I did today when i had some spare time. Hope you like them!!

David Downton

I came across David Downton's illustrations in an old edition of Vogue. I like the mixture of bold colours and black and white images. He does not just have one style of drawing which I find really interesting. These images were taken from http://www.daviddownton.com/fashion.html.

I created the look by using eye-shadow, false lashes, glitter and sequins. Here are some of the pictures I took.

Uni Work

I have just designed for Comme des Garcons as part of my University course. I have designed for Autumn/ Winter 2011/12. Here is my ten piece Final Collection.

Strictly Gorgeous!!

I am a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing, and I was very pleased when Kara held up that glitter ball trophy on Saturday night!One of the best things about Strictly has to be the outfits! I love Kara's last outfit, a peach  dress with a sweatheart neckline, with a fabulous ribbon detail back.

 This is Kara and Artem's official team photograph. I love the colour of the dress, and its full of beads- so beautiful. 

 I'm also loving Natalie's black dress. The detail in the waist-panel is gorgeous, and I just love the shape of the dress.

 The white dress above is lovely, with the diamante neckpiece, that looks like a necklace but it is actually attached to the dress.

 Love the colour and everything about this dress. LOVE IT!!

The back of Natalie's dress is beautiful. It really inspires me to design more dresses that have unusual backs.

The dress above is from a week were the pair danced to Jungle Book. I like how the animal print has been incorporated, and also the sparkly gold straps. I cant wait for the christmas special to see more beautiful creations! 

Vera Wang Spring 2011...Ballgowns and Wedding Dresses!

Vera Wang creates beautiful gowns that are well crafted. Each dress is like a work of art. 

 The ballgown above is from Vera Wang's Spring 2011 Collection. It is called Felicity, it has floating petal rosette embroidery on the bodice with a softly tucked skirt.

 The wedding dress above is called Fern. It reminds me of layered icing of a cake. This is created with a tissue organza ladder technique.

 This ballgown is called Flora. It has floral sea bead embroidery on the bodice, and floating hand-painted blossoms on the draped skirt.

All the above images are from the Vera Wang website. This last dress is a wedding dress from the Spring 2011 Collection. It is called Francesca. This is a mermaid gown with an asymmetric ruched peplum, bodice and back bow.

Monique Lhuillier Bridal Autumn 2011.

Monique Lhuillier is one of my favourite designers. The dresses are always elegant and beautiful. 

The dress below is called Aspen.The dress has ivory embellished chantilly lace with an elongated corset. The dress is covered with organza embroidered flowers. The sash on this dress is typical of a Lhuiller dress.

 The dress above is called Iris. I love the length of this dress, it is quite unusual to have a wedding dress at this length. It is made from ivory silk satin organza, and has floral petal details. It also has a crystal Iris brooch.

The dress above is called Lumiere. It is an ivory embellished chantilly lace, with a strapless sweetheart neckline. It also has a horsehair trimmed ruffle skirt. I think the silhouette of this dress is gorgeous. I love the detailed top and the dropped waist.
